Indeed!

Looking through older photos, found one of N75436

Bonus—N171UA:

(that certainly helps date the first)

Also should be easy to place?

Not Denver—it's the other snow-prone hub!

Did UA ever have a 747 base in DEN? I might just be failing to recall.

Also just spotted a tulip in the retro-CO photo.

Just rode this baby this week IAD-DEN. Even got a CPU to boot! Love this livery. Very fun.

When did ORD de-ice away from the gate? That's what threw me off about it.

To stay on topic, I have a special affinity for this frame. It's the one that brought me from my hometown to my first base for post-training orientation and work.

The photos are from 2015. Actually, I don't know if I've been de-iced at ORD since then. !

(They were taken looking west from C, so just away from the gate.)

Just spotted this plane while in the MSP United Club, I believe it is on its way to ORD right now.

Saw that plane at SFO on 6-November. The sun was barely up so couldn't get a good picture of it.

11/15/18: LAX

As it turned out, I actually flew on the plane from IAH but hadn't realized it. 21C wasn't terribly comfortable.

She’s in Madison, WI going to DEN this morning. The glare is too bad and she’s covered in snow or I’d take a picture.

So it isn’t the oldest plane I’ll ever fly on?

Anyone seen this before or have any idea what it is? It looked pretty cool, like a throwback sort of one or few-off livery?
just watched this same paint pull up to my gate. Glad it doesn’t mean the plane is that old. Thank you flyertalk!

After flying it - might be that old after all. The seats in business sure seemed like the old Continental Airlines seats...
