General consensus: In United Polaris business Cabin, 1D and 6D/E are the best seats on this plane due to the giant footrest area and direct aisle access without anyone having to step over you to get to the aisle. 1E is very close to the forward lav, however.

Fun stuff! My travel dates have changed ... so back to choosing seats again.
Any thoughts on 4E vs 7DEK for SFO-SIN and 5A vs 7A for the return (I suppose the tradeoff here is the view from the window being partially obstructed by the wing vs being next to the restroom)
Thanks.

Row 5 is a good distance from the BusinessFirst lavatory. The galley is between the lav and row 5, so you're more likely to be bothered by noise/light from galley than lav.

Huh? On both sides, the lav is forward of door 2 and immediately behind row 5. I flew in 5A once and did not find it to be too disruptive; however if you pay attention you can tell there is a lav behind you.

i would take 6A or 6L because there is more separation from galley and lavs in row 6 than in row 1. Then I would pick the side of the aircraft based on where the sun will be . . . A for eastbound, L for westbound.

6A and 6L are really nice if you like the window and 1L I read you will feel/if not hear the toilet flush.
The front cabin is quieter of course, but the white noise of the engines is nice to sleep to as well.
