SFO Cancellations on 7/3/14

SFO Cancellations on 7/3/14
So, going into a holiday schedule on 7/4, I hear there were several cancelled flights at the end of the night. According to the hotel front desk, there were 5 flights cancelled.
Tomorrow is going to be a mess. No extra sections, just really, really late people, as they are on a reduced holiday schedule tomorrow.
My MCO-SFO-SEA got me as far as SFO on 7/3... no luggage, just hotel. Re-booked on the 1 PM... now re-re-booked on SFO-PDX-SEA at 8:45 AM hopefully getting into SEA by noon.
I'm going to miss my 8 AM event, I hope to make my 1 PM event.

Things were actually going well this year for me... IRROPS were at a minimum, I got VDB'ed a couple times (over $1000 already this year), most of my midcon and transcon CPU's cleared out and I somehow got a few decent crews on board.
I'd seen the posts and complaints, but never really got impacted by them. This is the first time this year, but I guess when UA messes up, it's a cluster... cause the re-re-booking was keyed wrong... I got SEA-PDX-SEA instead of SFO-PDX-SEA. Now everything is sold out. Glad I checked before going to bed.
Off to re-re-re-book this mess.
