Goose Island Beer & United?
Maybe I missed this posted already...could it be true? An honest to goodness enhancement with a cool brand?

Ooh, that would be well received. They brew some good stuff.

UA Insider hinted at a new onboard beer offering several months ago and it was widely speculated that GI might be the selected brand. i in fact recently called UA Insider out for an update on this promise, to no avail :)

Would be great if true

I believe there were some invited to the event to announce the partnership. Pretty sure it will be part of the on-board supply.
It is a definite improvement over the current limited beer choices, but still a long way to go. |

It is a definite improvement over the current limited beer choices, but still a long way to go. I think if they put 312 on the plane, we can check beer off the list of UA problems. Most carriers have one (1) better beer, and rest very mainstreem stuff (Bud/Coors/Heineken). |

Great if true. Many of us had been calling for something like this (albeit with additional regional beer partners) for months.

I ask for a premium beer every survey I fill out. I DO hope tney are listening.

Anything is better than what they are offering today.... its just pathetic.
312 would be marginal (but they probably got a discount as Anheiser-Bush now ownes them, wants to expand while cutting quality, so its a match made in haven) but a ^ if its true. My favorite part of the article is the humor at the end: "It appears Goose Island's goal may be coming to fruition in part through a deepening relationship with United, which has been seeking to improve its customer satisfaction ratings by upgrading various aspects of its operations over the past couple of years." :o:o:o |
The GI sale to AB InBev is really paying off for them. National distribution on AB routes, more advertising, and now this. A chilly 312 will make my OSL-EWR on a 752 much more tolerable.

Titos first now this! The person running the liquor at UA should replace Smisek.

So maybe Miller Lite will go away and the onboard beers will be Budweiser, Goose Island, and Heineken? I'm okay with that. |
