If GF cheerleaders actually flew the product as often as they talk about it, we wouldn't have to worry about UA getting rid of it in the long term!

Anyone know he stop date, and the back story? I did some searches and its gone period, no sign of it being back even next summer.

I guess certain of us were right about it making no sense to fly the longer flight with SFO/DEN/LAX being shorter and therefore with lower CASM

are you sure? I checked random dates in Dec-July, only UA6/7 show up (the 772 flight), no second flight comes up in a search.

I'm still seeing it on the schedule for the dates I put in. But don't expect that if this 2nd IAH - NRT flight is cancelled that NRT - BKK will be coming back.

I just checked those dates on UAL.com, no second flight shows up.

It never made any sense to me to be routing folks over a flight that was over 1000 mi longer each way, so not too surprised to see it go.

I wonder what they will do with the A/C.

Probably use it on IAH - FRA, EWR - LHR or something

On 16 April 2015, the United timetable still shows both UA1 IAH-NRT and UA7 IAH-NRT ( http://www.united.com/web/en-us/apps...e/default.aspx ).

But the flight UA1 is not for sale in any GDS and it doesn't show up on UA's mobile site, so I guess it's in the process of being cancelled.

How is the 2nd daily IAH-NRT doing?

If it is gone, doesn't UA still have the slot in NRT that would be used for a new XXX-NRT-XXX?

would be 2 slots now with SFO-NRT going 1x daily. (unless Japanese authority would state HND would be considered the same for some reason)
