Same experience here, I was in B/F. No passport holder but great service. I'd take that over a gift anyday.

Had a J flight right after it went into service (before the first grounding), but didn't get anything. I suppose nothing was expected for a domestic route.

PVG-LAX late last year in E+. Got nothing, except the 787 the day before on the same route was cancelled.

They could give away mini fire extinguishers painted with the 787 livery scheme. @:-)

Gifts when flying the 787

Wonder if they only stock them at the US hubs, so that flights originating outside of US doesn't have them...

Last year on my only 787 flight they gave out a deck of cards in Y.

Oddly I disembarked with a few more drink chits in my pocket than I anticipated.

If its making its rapid descent or its on the ground/h2o already are you really grabbing the card to see what you should do??

There's the exit. Go.

Your opinion, and you are entitled to it. I would just like to remind you though that on US Airways flight 1549, only 12 passengers (eight percent) read the safety card and it turned out ok.

I got the cards and wallet when flying out of DEN to NRT. I assumed it was because of the new route more than the 787.

Makes sense. LAX-PVG in Y in January I got the cards. LHR-IAH in J just last week I didnt. On earlier international flights I've taken on the 787 (LAX-NRT-LAX in early 2013), there were no cards, but I assume that they weren't giving them out yet at all.

It's very common to take them as a souvenir, including among super plane aficionados. I know a commercial pilot who collects them. They get replaced eventually.
