How can you find out what's being served in First Class?

We are flying tonight from ORD-MCO. Just found out all 4 of us (wife and 2 kids) got upgraded to first. My youngest son has some food allergies and I assume it's way too late to request a certain meal.

With that being said, is there any way to know what's being served so we know if we have to bring food on board, or if we can just have him eat what is served?

Plan to bring food for him.

And maybe yourself, the F dinner meals are pretty bad anyway.

Ha! Kind of what I figured...my kids get such a thrill out of being upgraded that they will eat virtually anything put in front of them so the don't "miss out"! :D

You won't want to transit MCO on a full stomach anyway....

I'll try find link to let's eat so you can get the menu.

Yes bring your own food or eat before. Food on domestic F is pretty bad. Its like what should be an economy meal really :-)

ORD = Frontera = Happiness.

UA does not offer special meals on this route (and nearly all domestic flights).

Overpriced and marginal tortas at best. Much better and authentic food at PHX.

Isn't overpriced and airport food kind of redundant?

Since the OP isn't flying from PHX, but ORD, Frontera seems to be a good option. If we're throwing out cities with better, more authentic Mexican food, I'll go with MEX or OAX.

To be sure, Frontera airport is nothing close to the real thing inside the city. Still, I like Frontera airport. However, if I have time, I go to Stefani's Tuscany restaurant and enjoy a meal. In fact, whenever we fly int'l from ORD (with family), we always eat here. Get the tiramisu for dessert!

But if your talking about your son's allergies........why chance it? You don't know what is in the food. I always bring food no matter what class of service! Safe travels.

Although UA doesn't offer special meals on this route (as already mentioned), check here for future reference:

I don't there is anything appealing for kids in any domestic UA F meal anyway.

Thanks for all the suggestions...our choices were
-crappy chicken salad - which was the only selection left for my wife who was the only Global services member on board....I of course offered her my delicious wrap, but she declined! ;)
-oversalted beef wrap- my choice...and it wasn't very good...overcooked and sticking to the plate.
-disgusting onion soup.
-we brought food on board for the kids as suggested and rolled the dice....they came up snake eyes! ha!
