SFO Arrivals Lounge - closing 1 Dec 2019
The locator only says Baggage level, is this airside or after customs exit? If so, what do I do with my suitcase?
My SYD-SFO flight is scheduled to arrive 11:25, and the lounge is only open until 12:30 - will they let me in at the last minute to have a shower?
If we are late, then will they keep the lounge open longer? If I plan a meeting turning up without a shower might make me unpopular !
thanks

They won't keep it open past posted hours.
There is also a pay per use shower facility outside international arrivals. www.flysfo.com/services-amenities/passenger-services

Hi mahasamatman, SFO Arrivals Lounge access is now based on marketed cabin. If you're arriving SFO and you were seated in United BusinessFirst or United Global First (regardless of fare class or ticket type), you have access to the Arrivals Lounge during operating hours.

To clarify, so that you don't get lost, this lounge is at the same level as domestic UA baggage claim, one floor below the customs baggage claim after you exit customs while on your way to re-check your baggage, then one floor down....

If your flight is on time you should be fine (100% if you have GE). I arrived on that flight from SYD, went through GE, got my bag and then went out down there to the lounge. My Mother was picking me up so she sat with my bag but the shower areas are plenty big that you can bring your suitcase in with you if you are rushed and don't have time to recheck it before.

It's been a while since I arrived on an Intl flight in SFO, but I thought that by the time one hits the Arrival Lounge, one has already rechecked bags
Ah, nevermind, I am guessing that you end in SFO...

Maybe I missed one right out of CBP exit because I was ending in SFO...but the only one that I visibly noticed was the UA baggage check which is 20 feet down the hall from the Arrivals Lounge.
