Are these still available from the SFO (region)? What dates/destinations (if you don't mind)?

Maybe I'll book one of those, too

Edited to add: MOD is even better for me. 70 minute drive from Oakland.

Google Flights is your friend: put in SFO (all airports) for the departure city, choose Business Class, set Star Alliance, and pick rough dates... then browse the map. Most cities served by *A in Italy, plus a few in France, seem to be available, with varying dates. You can use the date histogram, too, once you've picked a city pair, and thus see when the cheap fares are still available.

ETA: I hadn't tried this for the SFO area, but in testing it out, you can always put in multiple origin airports; for example, "SFO, SJC, MRY, MOD, SMF." I see SMF and MRY are both options for many of these fares...

HNL-IAH-AMS-IAH-HNL for $1,480.00 and some change.

What a deal.

I'm flying from GUM so it's really not a re-positioning flight for me. I have NEVER seen a deal like this. Thanks for posting.

Snagged 2 out of SJC to CDG & AMS. I haven't been to Europe in the high season since my college days.

You can't book it out of a UA hub. ORD will not work. Try a co-terminal.

Part of me says this just can't be right...I've heard all the time that the airlines lose money on the discounted ECONOMY tix (ie these fares, even for a Y seat). But here's business class at a rate that they're surely losing money on every one of these they sell. So, I think this has got to be a mistake.

But the other part of me says that all of the BS that United has done is coming back to bite them, and they're seeing that filling the planes this summer is going to be difficult...And they're at a desperation point--anything to get people in those seats. They ran the flash sale to tighten up J demand, but even with that sale, they still didn't sell enough, hence why it is back again.
