UA M+ credit for US flight operated by AA ??

Anyone have the scoop on whether I should expect to gain UA M+ credit for a flight this week that was purchased as on US airways website but is operated by AA?

Search didn't turn up anything. Thanks.

Nope. Needs to be US metal, and only thru the 30th.

All that matters is the flight operator, not who sold the flight.

If the flight is not operated by a *A carrier no credit. Exception is UA MP partners (and no PQMs for those).

AA is neither

How about a US flight sold by AA?
Had a reroute, added my MP number to it, and no credit as of yet.

You should get credit, but rebookings often fall through the cracks. You should call.

US flight on AA stock? Or AA-codeshare on US-metal?

DL stock, on a AA codeshare flown on US metal with a UA FF account. The only thing that I was missing was something from B6 or WN on there.

Only the operating carrier counts - in this case, it has to be US metal to accrue UA miles.

Also, to earn EQD, it needs to be on 016 stock.

Newbie question: will I get PQM for a ticket bought on USAirways website but operated by AA before 3/31?

No. Operating carrier determines credit.

Mods - possible merge with http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...erated-aa.html
