Website shows segment of one-way separately: problem?
Apologies if this is not the right place to post this. I did a few searches and nothing came up.
I am flying CHO-IAD-DEN-DRO in March, with a return on a different PNR because the outbound segments were originally on a one-way award ticket. I booked CHO-IAD-DEN-DRO as a one-way, but the "view current reservation" function on the United website shows the CHO-IAD and IAD-DEN legs separately from the DEN-DRO leg, as if they were a two-leg inbound and one-leg outbound trip. There is a layover of about eight hours between the IAD-DEN flight's arrival just after midnight and the DEN-DRO flight's departure just after 8am, so perhaps this has confused .the system in some way? I can't think of any good reason for the reservation to be shown this way. Should I be worried about this? Because the website shows that final leg separately from the others, I am concerned that I will be expected to claim my bag and check it back in at DEN, which would be inconvenient since I'm planning to overnight in the terminal. Otherwise I couldn't care less. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks all! |
