splitting records - will it do it in pairs
there is a reservation for 7 of us traveling - one is a 1K, one is a Plat, and the others have no status. trying to maximize upgrade chances, i thought it might be smart to have one record with a 1K + companion and then the other 5 in an other record.
on united.com it gives an option to separate records - if i select this option and put a check by two names, will it split the PNR into 2 - one with 5 pax and one with 2 pax? or will it be one with 5 pax and then put the other 2 in single PNRs (in essence creating 3 confirmation numbers).
anyone with experience on this?
