They are having on-going IT issues and the upgrade balance is not displaying properly. If you call they can confirm your upgrade balance.

Interesting; I have a US flight next weekend and will be curious to see if they send me an offer afterwards.

I flew 6 US segments since September. With United Gold status I always had boarding Group 1. They know I am a United Gold, but no e-mail. I was last a US Air Chairman's preferred about 7 years ago when I left Continental because Larry Kellner told me that he was against lifetime million mile status, and they were doing stuff like cutting 757-300 first class to 12 seats. Kellner said he had American lifetime gold, and that it was only "wallet candy."
I will have no choice but to fly a lot of US Air in 2014 and status would be nice to have.

10 x 500 miles upgrades not showing up on account
I called the Gold Desk who said they couldn't see any upgrades in my account.
Anyone is the same boat......any suggestions? I have an AA flight coming up in 2 weeks.
Thanks

I find it funny and saddening that they have no problem matching UA status yet refuse to give any equivalent to US status despite them being the "same" company.
Yes, I know they match some perks, but it requires giving up others if you want to fly on their metal. I either fly as a kettle on AA number or have no chance at an upgrade under a US number.

Years ago, AA's challenge was free and so was HP's Elite Trial. Now I think both charge for it, which I think is a bad idea but understandable. It seems the fees are waived for UA flyers looking to jump, especially in the cases where they reach out to you?
I live at a US Hub and have flown US a few times in 2013 using my UA *G #. I have heard nothing yet. UA better watch out and increase capacity if they don't want to lose their elites at US hubs. So far, no sign of UA doing anything to make up for the lost of US codeshares. US/AA have not offered me anything either.

My wife just got the offer in the mail. Her 2013 AA flying consisted of a $100 ORD-FNT one-way. She has never had more than 4 AA segments in a year and has only had one ticket in her AAdvantage history that was not low yield. She isn't an HVF flier with UA either - 2013 UA for her consisted of 2 ORD-LAX roundtrips in cheap fare buckets.
I have no clue how they picked her.
