The Fleet Status site is:

https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/

At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.

To determine which plane your flight will be on go to mobile.united.com and then click on flight status. Put in the flight number for your flight and just have it use today's date (occasionally it'll say flight not operated on this date in which case just choose one of the other 3 dates it lists). In the address bar you'll see something like this:

mobile.united.com/FlightStatus/FlightDetails?carrierCode=UA&flightNumber=415&flig htDate=9%2F15%2F2015&origin=JFK&destination=SFO

https://mobile.united.com/FlightStatus/FlightDetails?carrierCode=UA&flightNumber=415&flig htDate=9%2F15%2F2015&origin=JFK&destination=SFO

Just change the flight date to match the day of your scheduled flight and then change the origin / destination as necessary. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.

Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement.

You may also check the specific fleet variant of each flight at the United Cargo site under "Schedules & tracking". This data tends to be reliable starting 7 days in advance, but is always subject to change.

Flew on CRJ-700 #750 N750SK with the new seats and the 6F, 16Y+, and 54Y configuration.

I found the seats in Y+ to be quite comfortable for a quick SFO - PSP run.

It looks like the tail number for this plane is N69816... I just tried that tail number on flightaware, and it matches flights on united.com for aircraft #3816 (like flight #1067 today from LAS-ORD).

UA planes at GYR

I spent the weekend at Goodyear, Arizona watching Cleveland Indians spring training. The airport is directly across from the ballpark and many airlines store planes there. I saw several UA planes with the CO tail, looked like larger 737's. Does anyone have a list of what ex UA planes are stored there. I know they are getting rid of older 757 and 767 aircraft.

JoeC, sorry for the typo.

Buckeyedfanflyer, love Goodyear for Spring Training. Didn't make it there when seeing Spring Training last week, but would have liked to see if the 3 762s are there, along with several 752s, etc. The fleet website I run has these in GYR at the moment.

757-222 N519UA entered 12/23/13 - Fleet exit
757-222 N525UA entered 6858/6Oct - Fleet exit
757-222 N554UA entered 11/13/13 - Fleet exit
757-222 N555UA entered 12/1/13 - Fleet exit
757-222 N557UA entered 6857/3Oct - Fleet exit
757-222 N560UA entered 6852/15Nov - Fleet exit
N767-224ER - N76153 entered 6875/4Oct - Fleet exit
N767-224ER - N68159 entered 5/16/13 - Fleet exit
N767-224ER - N68160 entered 11/20/13 - Fleet exit

There is also a removed aircraft page which shows aircraft removed since 2012. If they are sUA 733's, would be parked prior to the page was set up.

N173UA wasn't on the list ?

It was stored since 12/2011.

Is N171UA stored as well ? I thought it is scheduled to repaint from Blue UA to Globe, but it showed it was stored since 2/2014.

Is the 738 N37277 in revenue service yet ? Or is it still in test flights because it had installed schimitar winglets ?

Yes N37277 is now flying revenue flights. 739ER N28478 is undergoing experimental testing flights with the Scimitar winglets.

N171UA is active and is currently enroute to HKG.

I just realized that I failed to mention in my last post that the typo and link is incorrect on the fleet site... the link leads to a no flight data flightaware page. Just trying to help with the site!
