The Fleet Status site is:

https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/

At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.

To determine which plane your flight will be on go to mobile.united.com and then click on flight status. Put in the flight number for your flight and just have it use today's date (occasionally it'll say flight not operated on this date in which case just choose one of the other 3 dates it lists). In the address bar you'll see something like this:

mobile.united.com/FlightStatus/FlightDetails?carrierCode=UA&flightNumber=415&flig htDate=9%2F15%2F2015&origin=JFK&destination=SFO

https://mobile.united.com/FlightStatus/FlightDetails?carrierCode=UA&flightNumber=415&flig htDate=9%2F15%2F2015&origin=JFK&destination=SFO

Just change the flight date to match the day of your scheduled flight and then change the origin / destination as necessary. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.

Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement.

You may also check the specific fleet variant of each flight at the United Cargo site under "Schedules & tracking". This data tends to be reliable starting 7 days in advance, but is always subject to change.

The Fleet Site is not showing E+ on this aircraft, but united.com is showing E+. Looks like that should be corrected.

Drats, I was hoping they would re-cover with cloth...and guess there is no PTV in First...assume they ripped all PTVs of economy. (Sigh).

Cloth would be my choice as well.

No First, only Biz1st. And these birds didn't have PTV, only overhead TVs (though the 3 class ones did have personal players in First).

All the Audio/Video was removed from the 777s getting reconfigured as these are the ones that will carry the streaming content + satellite Wifi. Some of the reconfigured 777s just had the overhead monitors, while others had PTVs. In the beginning the plan for these aircraft was to reconfigure them from nose to tail with 2x2x2 seating in J and 3x3x3 seating in Y and nose to tail AVOD/Power but the company decided it would be too costly and decided to go the cheap route.

These are not BF routes. The front cabin is called "United First."

Sigh.

Although not surprising I guess given that this is primarily a leisure route with lots of fare discounting by the competition.

Bunky,

Don't mean to be jumping on every error... but I noticed that the fleet site is showing N69715 for 739 #3815... the link to flightaware is not correct either. Looks like it should be N67815 like what you stated in this post.

Thanks for all your work in maintaining the site.

Correct - just flew in Y on this one yesterday HNL-ORD. In Y, seats are fabric and appear to cover over the old video screens (you could feel it underneath the fabric). Boxes still remain on the floor, but that may be for streaming wifi and not left over. On the armrest, they just stickered over the control panel for IPTV. I'm surprised they did not remove the creens to save weight.

Flew Canadair Regional Jet 700 aircraft #718 last night, and it has new seats.

On another note, I see 151GJ listed as having new seats with 16F/16E+/48Y configuration.

Methiks that's a typo, as we all know CR7s have 6 FC seats. Sorry, forgot to check how many E+ on my flight last night. Oh, and I moved up all the way to #6 on u/g list
