SQ awards can be booked online but SQ generally does does not release to its *A partners all routes or all cabins -- especially the more premium cases

Is SQ releasing C award space to UA?

Tried finding space intra-Asia and elsewhere and nothing in business. Only Y everywhere.

IS UA still blocking SQ C award space? I can see it on Air Canada but not on UA. Curiously enough, cannot see it on Expertflyer. So is AC space phantom? Or do they have a special deal with SQ?

Edit: Just saw that AC has access to additional space that UA does not.

Yes, a brand new phenomenon. Looks like Aeroplan has bought the same access that AS has. Much, much different from what UA gets.

No YQ on SQ through AC? Could be an interesting Amex MR transfer then

There hasnt been YQ on any AC partners for a couple years now - and never was on SQ.
The space is real. I booked a few tickets including MEL-SIN-FRA-JFK and EWR-SIN-SYD.
Space is dwindling since it opened up, and will probably disappear once all the blogger vultures get wind of the scale of this. (insert Amex link here)

Are you saying you booked award tickets through AC or through UA?

I was able to ticket SFO-SIN RT awards yesterday through Aeroplan, but the same I space was not visible through UA.

Historically, USA routes were excluded. Has this changed?

Not for UA, but it might've changed for AC. I think the poster was more referring to there not being a blanket "ban" on SQ tickets on UA.com.

SQ ticket with UA miles

Don’t where to post. I booked two one way BCN—MXP SQ tickets with UA miles. I am having a different time enter passenger data to check in on line. SQ website insists on Krisflyer number which I don’t have. I want to enter my UA number so I that can enjoy the *G benefits. Suggestion on how to around the FF number issue.

at check-in. Won't be a problem. If booked with UA miles then your UA FQTV# will already be there
