You lump free SDC with other items that only Plat gets free and list it as Plat and above. Gold has free SDC also.

Agreed. There are others that could be detached such as RPU for Plat+ and GPU for 1k+.

I'd also nominate traveling companion CPU at the same level as the premier member. Other airlines essentially downgrade the premier member to the lowest level among the traveling companions.

Should there be a separate poll for each status level?

Not necessarily. But when you lump benefits together or leave benefits out that may or may not be for the level listed it is an inaccurate poll.

Not practical for the intent use -- 2014 FlyerTalk Awards. The selected item will be combined with a selected item from each airline, hotel, car rental, ... program and a best in class section made for each in regional / ww categories. Having different status levels just is not practical.

The whole no junk fees thing (particularly for award tix) is truly awesme. I think it's highly underrated on the poll.

I nominate the "Upon qualification, Premier status is valid through the end of the program year in which you qualified, as well as the entire following year." Several other programmes you get exactly one year from the anniversary of reaching status. This means as I will qualify for gold on my United flight January 7th 2014, I will maintain gold status to end of 2015. This is handy for me because I also am trying to maintain GE status on Air NZ (much harder now with the required 60% on Air NZ ticketed flights), still need to bank star alliance towards AirNZ.

You plan n flying 50k qualifying miles between January 1 and January 7, 2014? That's impressive! While the two year program (as some here call this kind of qualification) is a good benefit, most US-based programs have similar rules.

Even better, to the end of January 2016.

That may even be more impressive than UA1Flyer making 1K in January 2012 was.
