What channel should it be on?

cruisr Dec 2, 2013 11:08 am

Why?

I see this thread being moved to OMNI in the near future;)

From a purely business perspective, they should probably put it on a channel that is at least somewhat less political. I imagine conservatives would have the same response if the lounge was playing Rachel Maddow when they walked in.

Bottom line is that the TV's should be on any one of the news channels: CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC, etc. I prefer Fox, but nothing is more absurd than having some gossip show that only appeals to the staff, not the customer base. DEN is a perfect example of what not to do, as I never see any of the news channels on, instead it's ABC's afternoon programming...

cnn seems like a fair choice. fox "news" is purely propaganda. what if it was tuned to the united socialist workers news? would that be good?

purely propaganda?! that is hilarious!

Baze Dec 2, 2013 11:25 am

Fox is too far one way, MSNBC is too far the other way. If either of those are on I just tune out. Can't stand the drivel on either of those stations. They don't seem to know how to say anything except how bad the other side is doing. I am purely middle of the road.

K, maybe not pure but 70/30%?

CNN is probably the most neutral of the 3 - both MSNBC and FoxNews are propaganda machines that puts Pyongyang to shame

I suppose they should change the Fox News Channel Store at IAH as well?

mh3265a Dec 2, 2013 11:49 am

I am NO fan of Fox News but this may be the least substantive threads I've seen in some time. Just ask to have the channel changed and I'm confident they'll do it unless someone really wanted Fox News

This is going to be sent to OMNI faster than can you say Iluv2fly.

I think remotes should be left in the tv rooms.
