YTD Premier qualifying miles: 95,547
YTD Premier qualifying segments: 26.5
4 flight segment minimum: Waived
Presidential Plus PQD waiver Eligible

OK I'm an internationally based 1k flier and I don't ever recall having the Continental Presidential Plus CC. However it says I qualify for the waiver. Is this because I spent over 25k on my UA Club card?

I did have an older UA mileage plus card, then an explorer, and now a UA Club Card.

Anyone know why it is showing this? As well as the 4 flight segment min is waived. Maybe because I re qualified already?

also can UA just drop the Premier Qualifying xxxxxxx with every damn thing they have? It would be so much easier.

$4344 and 1K. Last year of trying for any sort of status on UA - especially when this year was an expensive year in terms of tickets. Only 2 mileage runs in all of that, but quite a few partner flights.

Along with the axing of SEA-NRT today, goodbye United, hello Alaska!

limey1K Nov 19, 2013 10:17 am

YTD 114PQS, 110KPQM "Over $10,000"

My actual spend is: Airfare $22,200 and Taxes and Fees $2,912

All Y fares and all but two segments domestic (DEN-NRT-DEN)

Xyzzy Nov 19, 2013 10:20 am

My data looks like this:

YTD PQM 101,233
YTD Premier qualifying segments: 44
YTD Premier qualifying d:cool:llars: $4,973

OP:
(1) How in the heck did you find this?
(2) Cool find, thanks!

I've been monkeying around with my numbers to see how it's getting my total.

Base airfare only, including a $300 VDB voucher, and only of flights I've taken this year, I'm -$84 of United's total. Including a $75 SDC fee I paid earlier this year when I was a Silver, I'm -$9.

However, including YQ from a United flight, I'm +$264.

Shame that it's a black box, "here's your PQD total!" As opposed to a more transparent "here's how we calculated it." Although the latter would generate more problems than solutions as FTers call to nitpick on every cent. :p :D

Or, if you don't do the GreaseMonkey thing, go to your account page, view source and search for QualifyDollarPopout. It is right there. If you're over $10K it won't give you more detail than that but below $10K you get a specific number.

Thanks a bunch! Found my numbers!

YTD Premier qualifying segments: 33.5
YTD Premier qualifying dllars: $1,844

Looks like I'm the silver they are trying to weed out...

For the most part, it looks like among FTers, the $10K for 1K mark isn't a problem. Mind you, this is only a few pages, but most seem to be doing fine - except for maybe Xyzzy above.

I have the Club card and have spent about $500 on it this year. My account also shows "Pres Plus waiver eligible." But, my account also shows Flex PQM: 0, even though my card isn't eligible for earning them. I bet UA is just tagging Pres Plus cards and Club cards as the same product in their system. Maybe this will get fixed, maybe it won't.
