Some would venture to say otherwise on the relative concept of the "hard way"...flying long haul TPACs with the possibility of CPUs obviously being nonexistent can be pretty butt-numbing

Better question would be - did anyone make 1K flying only RJs?

It could also be said that CPUs are nonexistent on RJ's that only have one cabin. Even RPU's are difficult to redeem at that point.

122 paid segments. Too many domestic ones at that.

I made it with 27.5. Coming out of DFW, everything has a connection.

I have always been 140-160EQS elite, but this year I hit it on 79. This is the FIRST year I will be >1000 EQM/segment. Guess taking on a project in Honolulu and Los Angeles in May did it! (EWR is home airport)

34 segments -- primarily on the strength of three TPAC roundtrips and one other from SIN-BRU.

I flew majority RJs. Hit 1K at 120.5 PQS and 67,674 PQM. Thats only 562 PQM/PQS! FML!

I think your employer should give you vitamins and milk for free for working in unhealthy environment...

I made it to 1K in 36 segments in 2012. Was based in BOS and made three trips to Europe, four to Asia, and a few domestic cross country. A few of the trips were in Lufthansa business class which I think I received 150% PQMs for, so that helped.

Touche...making 1K on RJs alone (or mostly so) would most certainly edge out many other avenues toward elite qualification in terms of the "hard way" factor...eek!

48 segments when hitting 100k in mid-July ... however 16 flights were 1.5x.

So really did it on 40 flights.

Zero work flights. No mileage runs.
