what's your 2014 PQD/PQ$ spend so far?

I thought it would be interesting to assess, at this point, how many people are jumping on the PQ$ bandwagon. I was hoping some might be interested in sharing their total 2014 PQ$ booked so far. I know it's early but many of us do jump on sales or plan trips far in advance.

I've got three UA reservations made for 2014 so far. My estimated total PQ$ for these three reservations is approximately $390.

I will earn about 16,000 PQMs on these three reservations, meaning I am spending slightly less than $.025 PQ$/PQM at this point.

How are others stacking up?

I fly weekly for business but i only book flights about 2 or 3 weeks in advanced. My average flight PQD is about $500. Nothing for 2014 yet, but i won't have any problems hitting thresholds.

After my flight tomorrow, I will have 101,622 miles, on (as near as I can figure it) 9826.72 in PQD. (perhaps 10k more miles and 1000 bucks to go this year) I will probably only go to Guam once next year (vice twice this year) so I am likely not going to hit 1K next year on either criteria.

$0 so far. My trips are all planned inside 30 days, so I don't anticipate buy any 2014 tickets until early/mid December. I'm at 105k miles with a $23k domestic spend YTD.

Only one January trip booked so far. $887.64 PQDs. And they better be counting cents. Around 10cpm.

I have a 2013 reservation with the returning leg on 2014. I am still not sure how that's gonna count towards the PQD. For the sake of simplicity I will just simply divide the price of the whole reservation by 2 and that's 1540$ for about 9000PQM.

~44k PQMs and ~$5k. Spend threshold should not be an issue.

I have one LAX>LHR trip booked in January for work, $1,600 ticket. Which is a good start to my PQ$ total given that my all-in United spend tends to be $12-13K in recent years (I'm at $10,661.46 for 84,351 PQM so far this year). I'm likely to finish out at just over 100K, probably for an additional $1-1.5K.

$0 - just have the return trip of an AA leisure trip booked as well as an award ticket

Fun with numbers - my end-of-year CPM for UA (77K BIS, zero premium fares) is $.16.

For AA, only 23K BIS but a CPM of $.57 (and will rise with another int'l C trip yet to be booked)

40K booked thru March more to come. PQD no idea used eCerts for each tkt 2 for 1 (2 1 ways) total out of pocket apx $1600. 1k again no way unless I end up buying BF for a couple of my TLV flights. Plat no way unless I get a UA CC and spend $25k too bad Chase GCs are history. Gold nope no way will I end up with $5k Spend, but I crossed the 1M mark last yr so I cant go below UA G (but that doesnt help so much with the way I change my award tkts so Id will end up Plat or 1K) what will be after '15 depends on how bad UA kills us by then, and Im sure they will ,the only question is when will they do so

I wish UA would take more notice of shifts like this. I've booked all four of my international business class trips away from UA in protest (they remain the best network for me domestically, however).

$0

I want transparency first before I make any bookings. I know I will book the SUN trip for Jan soon, but nothing besides that one.

I might need to make a trip to MNL in July, but the ticket will be on NH ticket stock with UA being the operating carrier on all sectors except NRT-MNL-NRT which will be on NH.

I am not looking forward to next year, they have made it all more confusing.

Yup - a single JFK-GRU r/t in C on AA and a one way EZE-JFK in C on AA is more than my TOTAL UA spend this year on 77K BIS
