Right, double RDM for domestic parts under this promo. And then double RDM for SEA-NRT under http://www.united.com/web/en-US/apps...omoCode=TB9M50 ? Either way I still need the ticket, so double miles under any promo will be good for me.
You realize buying a M class ticket for double RDM, it probably equal to 2 tickets on T, L, K that you are already making double RDM and double EQM right ?

This promo sucks IMO. The annoying part for me is that the promo is only one month long and bookings made before yesterday are not eligible. If this promo was good for three months or so, then that makes sense. But an one month promo that requires being booked and flown within one month with no advance announcement of any sort.
Seems like UA does not really want to offer such promo but felt they had to run something to stay on par with other airlines.
Great for those who can take advantage of it ^

I'm able to register like most here. I have two trips during this period, one booked and one not. Hope the fare class works, so I can get more RDM's.
Maybe I will have to change the itinerary of my first flight too

Sorry, but my reaction to the one is "BFD?" If you can get a lower class fare, you can buy the extra RDMs for less than the fare difference; certainly for anything lower than T.
Yeah, I guess this is okay if you need to buy tix anyway and only S+ is available, it's nice to have the extra RDMs, but is this going to get people who wouldn't otherwise travel in the next month to seek out S+ fares to earn a few extra thousand RDMs? I doubt it.
More likely, this promo is for people who don't read the restrictions carefully before they book and/or maybe for "free agent" fliers to siphon off a little traffic from the other airlines.

Way back in the days when I gave a darn about United (and vice versa), there was at least one promo where they opened up a secret promo code with the same flight dates but no purchase requirement.
So if you happen to be on the phone with them, go ahead and ask. If there's enough pushback, they might do the same thing here.
And if they do, please post the code.

ORD-SFO November is $290 for K class, S class is $450.
So does the extra 3692 RDM worth $160 ? Hell no.
