Yup, I'll upload pictures when I get home tonight.

However, I suspect that it will not be comped, and they will probably charge $10 a pint for it. Still, good news. Saint Arnold beer is one of the great things about H-town.
I'll give one of those a try next week. I don't expect it will be comped either. Any reports from ORD, as to what a Honker's Ale runs ya today?

$4.99 a bottle. Why not just stock Two Buck Chuck and get it over with. Sigh.

Sadly Two Buck Chuck is now $2.50. Nothing lasts forever.

I was so close to getting a membership until I read about the "rumors" a few weeks ago. I'm so glad I held off and didn't bother spending my $500 on a membership. It will go to the airport bars, restaurants and coffee joints instead.

With UA's successful campaign to drive away loyal pmUA customers and other HVFs, perhaps the paid membership has dropped dramatically, so they feel forced to make cutbacks. While the clubs got quite crowded after the merger, it seems like there are lots more newbies who maybe got a couple of free passes with their credit card and aren't directly contributing to revenue.

Meanwhile UA may feel that the various credit cards offer enough other benefits that they can get away with cuts in this area. Frankly the old Presidential Plus card always seemed absurdly underpriced to me in the old days (not so much now, of course!).

Hey, I've seen some reviews and UA is pouring a "good" $5 wine. It's so exceptional that it might taste like a $6 bottle of wine.

I'll try it later this week if it's available. I know what Bud Light tastes like.

Just sent my email to [email protected]

Also called Chase and was able to register my thoughts on a customer capture.

Spoke to a bartender in the CLE club last night who said she was embarrassed by what she knew was coming.

I do feel bad for the poor UC employees who will face the anger this generates. Let's all remember to direct our anger at the right people and not take it out on employees.

As has been mentioned here by several posters, this may be the most infuriating of all the "enhancements" so far. To try to pass this off as an improvement shows a maddening lack of respect for the intelligence of United's best customers.

Forgive me for not sharing in the need for alcoholic beverages at my age

But really, how is it like, if one could take some time?

Hadn't been following this "enhancement" news but found out about it tonight in the SFO Terminal 3 when I just went to grab a beer -- now $3 per glass here for anything other than Bud Light. What galls me is that last night I had both a Sierra Nevada Kellerweiss and Pale Ale in this same club, and both were well on their way to being flat (at least last nigh they were free). I'm not paying for beer that may not even be fresh!!

Also, I am one of the idiots who bit on the 3-year (last time offered) membership last December, which I would not have purchased if I knew this "enhancement" was coming -- sure seems like fraud in the inducement if they had this planned all along. I'm going to see if I can get my membership changed to a 1-year and get a refund of the difference.

Pretty ridiculous change!!
