Yes. I booked it the other day as a standard business class reward.

Which route?

Also does this mean one can use UA miles to book non-partner awards with a partner codeshare?

ICN-IST on TK91.

I don't think it's applicable to codeshares, simply wet leases and operational things. Edelweiss Air operates a longhaul flight for LX and as far as I know, it's a bookable reward.

FYI the inventory was pulled at some point in the past few hours. The same searches which showed plenty of it earlier this afternoon now show no BR flights while ANA still shows the seats.

Just checked SFO-BKK for 10 dates in Sept and nada ! Must've got pulled, because the whole month is wide open supposedly.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update here. We've seen a small issue with a limited number of BR awards since launch. It's a relatively straightforward fix, but in order to maintain the quality of the booking path we've temporarily pulled down BR inventory while we work through the resolution. We'll put the award booking functionality back online after we resolve the issue, likely late next week or a few days after.

That didn't last long. I doubt availability will be as good as before. It was showing 4+ seats for many dates till end of schedule.

Thanks Aaron. Look forward to seeing BR back on United's website next week.

is enhancement-speak for "too much avail was offered"?

I thought every seat that I saw yesterday had been booked already. Glad that's not the case and hoping the inventory comes back as it was before the error.

What would UA have to gain by limiting another airline's award availability?

They're a *A airline - availability is what it is. UA gets the same as everyone else does.

Overly cynical bunch here, to the point where it doesn't even make sense!
