June 25th - the last day for the tulip logo

Employee reported that June 25 is now considered the last day for the tulip logo. This logo on that day will be out of regulation for any uniforms or signage. This means it cannot be used. Any active employees on here can shed more info?

I was told by a FA this evening that all uniforms are changing next week so I assume this lines up with the tulip elimination.

Unless they change it, the logo will remain as an integral part of the LAX T7
United Club ticket counter. Probably not a unique counter, but the only one I've taken note of...

Well, I guess it's time to kiss the twolip logo good-bye. (Sorry about that.)

Still plenty of birds flying with the old logo...

I'll be sure to wear my tulip pin next time I fly...

So will they ground most of the 747s and many of the 767s which still have the old logo and peeling paint? Will they sue the UX carriers for breach of contract in respect of their unpainted planes?

Good call. Would love to see the tulip here and there!!

what about the meatball? Is that the last day for the meatball? I was on a flight the other day and the meatball pins on the lapel were there. If you can't wear the tulip, can I assume the meatball is verboten on the uniform? :D

sorry i still have shellshock from the old call center hold advertisements.

but yeah i'm guessing this is just for the uniforms. there's still a bunch of places with the tulip like the planes mentioned, and if i remember right there's still a bunch of UAX gates in IAD concourse G that still have the old tulip hanging around...

On a trip two weeks ago, our baggage tags printed with the Tulip from SAN - I got back home and when I was ripping them off - it made me smile and remember the good old days :-)

What about EWR or IAH? They proudly display Continental everywhere. When is the last day for that?

June 25th - the last day for the tulip logo

I wear tulip shirt on PMUA transpac routes and that won't stop - my frequency of flying UA however has gone from about 100% to 15%
