Will status be inherited when booking award tickets for others?

A friend is flying from NRT to HKG on NH with a ticket booked with UA miles. The miles are coming from a UA 1K account. Will the passenger enjoy certain benefit more than a usual non-frequent flyer such as extra baggage allowance and lounge access?

There's already a long thread on this. The short answer is yes on bags and "Premier Access" YMMV on Lounge access
