Friends, on all my upcoming reservations on UA82 (EWR-DEL) and UA83 (DEL-EWR), the seatmap of the 777-200 does not look anything like the one I am accustomed to seeing. Is there a change of equipment, with no more lie-flat seats in BusinessFirst on this route?? HEEELLLPP!!: confused:

You didn't hear? They're bringing some old configuration, pre-renovation a/c out of the desert to address the widebody shortage.

This sounds like my seat map for a seat map on a 777 from FRA-Houston in June. The map doesn't show any E+ only E. and the map doesn't scroll left/right etc. Spooky.

Same for UA 48/49 to and from BOM. Very strange. Hopefully just a technical glitch in their system and not in actual equipment. It will suck if we get stuck on old school biz seats on a 15.5 hour non-stop flight....
Additionally, anyone know why 48/49 were cancelled this past weekend? Can't see 49 for the next few days as well...

Saw the same thing for my Flights 58/59 this summer, but I'm not worried. Its probably a website glitch for the seat map. I don't believe that UA has any 2 class 777-200s that Don't have lie-flat BF, I know that was one of the big advertising points on the pre-flight videos back in 2011.
Cheers,

Everyone take a breather and relax all of the sCO 777s do indeed have flatbed seating it's version 5 50J/217Y on united.com. They are not changing them.

Correct a glitch. If you go to united.com and select version 5 that is the version you will be on for flight 7 . The version 4 36F/312Y version you see is used on flights to/from mainland - hawaii, hawaii - guam, guam - japan.

why are these gliches still happening?
There hasn't been an sCO A/C without lay fat seat in over two years and they finished the E+ triple 7 mod over six months ago. The real issue is that that this seat map is still in the database !!?? But the thing that sucks is random seat changes. Not only did I get an e-mail with a schedule chance, but had me in a middle seat way in the back of the aircraft. This far in, why are we still seeing all these sloppy "glitches". Crazy
