cancel remaining part of award, will miles be refund?
Will an award be repriced and miles refunded if you cancel return of an award trip?
What about if flying say FRA LHR EWR - FRA, with a stopover i LHR. Then cancel the remaining after flying only FRA LHR, will it be recalculated to a european one way award?

You might be able to change it to something you can use, but this could mean fees.

You can cancel the entire award, but you will need to pay a fee in order to redeposit your miles. You could then rebook a OW award FRA-LHR, assuming that award travel is available. It may be worthwhile for you to do so, even paying a fee, because in addition to regaining your miles you will also receive a refund (to your credit card) of whatever fees you paid when you booked the original award. The fees associated with a OW FRA-LHA award are likely to be lower, perhaps much lower, than the original fees.
