Flight posting on the wrong day?

This is a first for me. Took a flight in Tuesday (2/5). It just appeared in my account but has an activity date of 2/6

It was an early morning flight SNA-DEN, so no weirdness of crossing the date line, flight stretching across two days because it was a redeye, or anything like that....

Anyone else?

I guess it really doesn't matter, but imagine if it had happened on a 12/31 flight needed for requal....

Flight posting on the wrong day?

It's happened to me too, but mostly in the early days post 3/3 through about summer. In one case, it was the first leg of a connection that posted with a date one day +, but the second flight on the correct day. This was an all domestic, same-day connection.

Have no idea why this happens, but unless its a 12/31 to 1/1 error that forced you not to get the next status level, I wouldn't worry about it.

The mobile app does this fairly frequently, as it tends to mix up dates for boarding passes. My last trip to SMF was 2/2 - 2/3, but the mobile boarding passes had my segments 2/1, 2/2, 2/2, 2/3. Refreshing just scrambles them up again. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason for how they're sorted. Guessing it's a related issue.

Might be worth just printing passes from now on, especially with mileage crediting issues popping up here and there on the forum.

I always grab a screen shot so I can check for the magic Pre-3 :D. In parallel I have it emailed to me just in case. Never seen a mobile BO with the wrong date on it though. It seems like TSA would get all persnickety about that

Last year I had an HNL-IAH return segment not post automatically.
It was the last of 6 segments and the only one to not post.

After a couple of conversations with the MP desk they manually posted it (while I waited) but had to post it on the day before I actually flew the segment.

Speculating, there may be some back end issue where something gets bollocked up and perhaps they can't delete the bad segment and also can't enter the same flight segment twice on the same day. So they do a manual post of the segment on a different day. Doesn't seem to hurt for annual qualification; the PQM miles still accrued.

I'm sure they'd post it in your favor by manually entering the accrual on 12/30 rather than 1/1 if it happened on 12/31. Otherwise, as above, I wouldn't worry about it.

Very simple DFW-IAH-SJU SJU-IAD-DFW, one day in old San Juan, yet each segemnt posted as different day, even though I only flew day one and day three

Had another as well, but only one segment was off by a day.
