I had a huge flying beetle in coach on a trip to Minnesota. Everyone was screaming so when it landed on me, I squished it. It made a huge mess, but peace was restored.

Did you report it to the FA? There is a process to handle this problem when it happens.

I find your post amusing, since "slippahs" is the best way to take out cockroaches in Hawaii :)

Actually, according to Wikipedia, the etymology of the term "coach" was as an abbreviation of "C(ockr)oach" because of the ubiquity of bugs in early jets.
