E+ removed for Silver on split PNR
I understand that a Silver with a current E+ seat assignment could lose it after a PNR is split for upgrades, but does anyone have recent experience with this actually happening? A colleague of mine is Silver and current holding an E+ seat assignment (it shows up on the reservation), but there still is a banner to purchase E+ for $88. I'm trying to understand whether he will lose that seat assignment at some point prior to travel (which happens to be next weekend).

Generally if it happens it's pretty straightforward to get it fixed to call/go to the check-in desk and have them put back in the original seat. |
