PS J arrival LAX TBIT Star Alliance Lounge Access?

I know J doesn't get access to the United lounge upon arrival after a PS flight, but what about the Maple Leaf lounge or the Star Alliance lounge at LAX ( Terminal 2 and Tom Bradley)? Is there any way to get into any of these terminals to use the lounge?
I will be arriving on JFK-LAX and will have a 3 hour layover before a domestic connection on UA.
Thanks for the insight and I apologize if this has been asked before

You are entitled to the AC lounge regardless of your travel class as a star alliance gold member. But I'm not sure how you can get into terminal 2.

Not on arrival. But with the onward connection, he should be okay. But T2 access will be a challenge.

I wonder if the UA folks will let him in on a connection.

I would recommend not using the word "arrival" in any way. That's a big no-no for lounge access.

Thank you both :) getting into terminal 2 without a proper BP does sounds like a challenge but I could try it if it's not too far. But you're right maybe I should just give the UA Club a try having an onward connection in F...
