Arrow Post Your Favorite United Photos Here - Consolidated Thread

It has been over an year since our beloved airlines have fully been integrated into one airlines. I am sure we all have photos taken since the merger that are worth posting for others to view.

There is a popular thread in the pre-merger UA forum started by lucky9876coins that has hosted many excellent and interesting photos of PMUA:

Post your favorite United picture!

It is probably a good idea to have a similar (and continuing) thread in the Post-merger CO/UA forum. Hope to see many more photos of the combined airlines in this thread in the future.

January 4th 2013

I took these two photos yesterday (Jan 4, 2013) aboard of IAD-PEK UA 897 flight.

As our aircraft entered into the China Air Space in the northeastern China, I spotted another UA 777 aircraft on our lower right side. Within a couple of minutes after taking these photos, the spotted aircraft took a left turn under our aircraft and disappeared.

I have no idea where it went. Looking at the schedule, the aircraft could be flown in any of the following routes: LAX-PVG, ORD-PEK, EWR-PEK, EWR-HKG. I am not familiar with fight path and scheduling, and was wondering why the spotted United aircraft was flying lower than us and took a left turn well ahead of us (we were heading directly towards PEK as far as I could tell from the in-flight map).

Fess up, who among you is the artist?

Flight 737, A319 CMH/DEN last night... the lady sitting in 7B was reading the latest Hemispheres and started to chuckle. She handed me the mag and pointed to our friend SMI/J pictured here.

Nice!

This thread makes me laugh.

I wonder how many people are going to be kicked off of airplanes for posting United photos?

Much different world today.

My last UA 737-300 was DTW-ORD in September, 2008
My last UA 737-500 was SEA-LAX in September, 2006

Meanwhile, how about this for a time warp to fifteen years ago?
