I have 95XXX PQM on 12/31, on 12/31 I took UA858(PVG-SFO) and 2 connecting flights to BOS, although the miles posted on 1/2 but I still get my 1K status with United for the first time!

It's based on scheduled departure date/time. 1K was on the line for me, so I made sure to research on this.

I think I may be the top runner thus far. SQ001 (SFO-HKG), scheduled departure 12/31 22:50. It was actually 23:50 when I booked it back in Sept. Scheduled arrival was 1/2 ~6AM.

I am sweating on GS regualification.....

I opted to fly more NH over the transpac and more RTW trips instead of US-Asia return flights on UA may cost me the GS in 2013....I flew a full-fare business transpac roundtrip in December hoping to tilt the scale, but may be too late....

Pretty much the same story for me. Final trip was mid-December, and I needed to break up a IAD-SFO direct flight to IAD-ORD, ORD-SFO in order to squeeze by with 75,009. Was going to miss it by 15 miles otherwise...
