Crossed 25k on 3/3/13 in my 1st Business First experience on the UD of a 747 LAX-SYD. Sitting at 38k today with around 13k booked through mid-April. Guess I am on track to be 1K for a 2nd year!

Crossed 25k returning home to NYC from LAS. Mercifully, I received an upgrade on the longer leg (LAS-CLE) but not the short leg (CLE-EWR), which would be the only luck I had all weekend. Vegas wins again.

Just passed my 30th EQS on 3/20, BOS - ORD. After having been GS for a couple of years, I bumped back down to 1K post-merger. I probably share all the same complaints that everyone else does about the new UA, but it hasn't impacted my loyatly or spend. UA still gets all my business.
What will impact though is that I'm going to be transferring to an office closer to my client base in the middle of the year. It's likely to significantly reduce my travel. I've averaged about 160 nights for the past 7 years and am expecting 30-40 going forward. I may edge over gold this year, but not entirely sure.
I'm at 745K lifetime miles with UA, so hoping that I can lock in MM status in the next couple of years. No delusions about upgrades, but being able to lock in an exit row seat will still be nice enough.
Also have 8 years in with SPG at Platinum and have already requalified for next year, so hopefully in calendar year 2014, I can get my 25 stays and lock in lifetime platinum over there.
Getting both would be nice to make sure that even though I'll be traveling less, will still be doing it with some sense of style!

Crossed 25k EQM somewhere over Asia today and hoping to make it to 50k in 2013 which is the most I will likely ever have as this is 99% leisure travel. But I will still take it.
