Too funny - there's no cheap V-/Q-up currently published, and the o/w diff between V and M is ~310. Gotta love SHARES.

At least a 1K actually got the offer for once... still, $46 on that route (and from a V fare!) is downright ridiculous.

what route: SEA NRT 02/02 (old config 777)
original fare bucket: W to R using GPU
price offered: about $2,400 upgrade from C to F
Where it was offered/accepted: OLCI
Accept it? Sorry, I don't take drugs

Tried OLCI again and the offer is gone...but no change in seating (so no one else took it)...will keep poking at OLCI to see if the offer changes before we get to the airport....but unless it drops to about 800-900, this ain't happening...F class is not worth $5 per minute of flight time.

what route: ORD BOS and back
original fare bucket: L and Q
price offered: $2,688 for both directions, original flight was $420 total both ways
Where it was offered/accepted: Post-purchase
Accept it? No. If I wanted to pay another 6x on top of my original price, I wouldve bought the first class tickets to begin with.

The $2400 offer remained throughout the checkin-in attempts and when we inquired about an upgrade with the club agent, she quoted the same amount, leading me to believe this was a fare difference buy-up vs a segment upgrade offer - so, the F cabin ended up half full with nonrevs

Had they made a more reasonable offer, the F cabin would have been potentially filled with actual incremental revenue

you're in Lahore? or London? If the latter, I'd jump on that upgrade - my SO would have gone from C to F on the NRT flight in a beat for that offer.

I would jump on it, but it really depends on how you value your money and UA F.
