Didn't read the whole thread, but did anybody notice row 14 is blocked? I just booked an itin with 3 * 737 flights and all 3 times row 14 is blocked. I think it's their easy way of swapping to a 319 in future. Sorry if this is the conclusion before.

Do 1E & 1F have same foot cutout in the bulkhead wall as 1A & 1C have? Seatguru and Seatexpert give conflicting information and I've only ever flown in 1A.

737-700 Reduction in F seats?
I was searching for flights in April and May of 2013, and when clicking on the seat map for flights showing the 7-700, noticed row 3 of F was gone, and row 14 of E- was added. Saw this on a number of different flight pairings, destinations, and dates.
Glitch? Another change we'll like? Shares? Boogie man?
here are the flights I was looking at if anyone wants to see for themselves:
EWR-BOS April 10 #1703
EWR-SNA May 8 #s 1496, 1481
EWR-DFW May 23 #1220

The seat map is a placeholder. See: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...-8f-seats.html

Apologies if I missed the "everything you wanted to know" thread on this one but...given the choice of 20 B,C,D,E or any given non E+ aisle or window, which would you pick? Is it true that the E+ legroom in row 20 is less than normal or is that a figment of SeatGuru's imagination?

It depends on what you value more - pitch or recline. Row 20 is an exit row and has more distance (pitch) between seats, but has limited recline because row 21 is also an exit row.

Is the bulkhead in front of row 7 a wall which is not recessed at all near the floor? (i..e, is there less room to stretch out than in the other Economy Plus seats?

737-700 exit row seats
Hello FT-ers!
First post here so I'm hoping for a warm welcome! Next week, I'll be flying transcon on a 737-700, and I'm sitting in an E+ exit row. I love to fly, and I love a good window view, I know that the exit row has only two seats, so the window view won't be perfect, but do any of you have experiences you'd like to share about an E+ exit row on a -700?
Thanks

Welcome to FT!,Ruski11
The main issue is Row 20 seat don't recline, that may or may not matter to some. And there is no exit row leg space. So little to recommend except the 2 seats per row.

Yeah, I'm sitting in 20B, only available A or F seat is 32, the last row, should I stick with 20B, or switch?
Do more seats usually open up in the 24 hour window due to cancellations, changes, etc?
I'm used to flying WN, so please excuse my lack of UA seat selection knowledge

yes and add in upgraders (who are likely sitting in the exit row)
