New pillows and blanket in coach on p.s. flight!
It's been a while since I sat in coach. However, my upgrade on the JFK-SFO p.s. flight did not clear (#8 as 1K with L fare, with 1 seat open). I was taken aback to find real pillows and blankets on each seat in coach! Here's the picture:
The pillow is similar to the old PMUA domestic first pillow, previously with blue cover. The blanket is soft, and actually has a lining and not the see-through gauze. Not quite as nice as the business class comforter, but much better than any other domestic blankets I've seen.
I'm wondering if this is an improvement just for p.s. flights, or it's going to spread systemwide?

Are they still using the white blanket on business class? I like the texture of the white blanket. Soft, warm and comfortable.

Flew IAD to SAN red eye. No pillows or blankets in the back of the bus. Return red eye trip on DL (SAN-JFK) had crappy blankets, but were blankets nonetheless. DL also had blankets for an early morning (8AM) flight JFK-BOS.
