Mileage transfers. How long did yours take to post to the recepient's account?
United's website says to "Allow 48 hours for the miles to post to each recipient's account" when transferring miles from one person's MileagePlus account to another person's MileagePlus account.
Has anyone experienced quicker posting times? Just trying to gauge the chances of the miles posting to the recipient's account within 18 hours to beat the 21 day cut-off and not pay the close-in fee on the redemption.
