UA432 showing 16 F seats blocked for 10/20/2012, why?

UA432 showing 16 F seats blocked for 10/20/2012, why?
Checked flight status for UA432 LAS-SFO for 10/20/2012 and saw 16 F seats were marked "blocked". Anyone know why? Are they prepared for overbooking in Y or are they blocked for VIP's?

Could they be preparing for a possible equipment swap from 757 (24 F seats) to A319 (8 F seats)?

Interesting theory. I have seen blocked seats on routes where they routinely swap out new and old config 777s.
