Problems with UPgrade List
 

I´m a 1k and my work partner is a Premier. We both flying tonight out of GRU. I´m on a B fare using GPU and he is on an W fare using miles and copay.

We both checkin this morning, he was put on the upgrade list I was not. Called and they added my name manually, however I´m the last on the list.

What should I do?

Check and see if your MP number and status was correctly entered when you were placed on the waiting list. Likely the issue as reported many times lately.

My boarding pass shows 1K so I assume it is correct. Do you believe I need to call them and re-confirm?

yep, if you were added manually to the list I sure would.

There was a thread a few days ago where a travel agent had checked in her 1K client who was also using a GPU for an upgrade and he was on the bottom of the list. They ended up unchecking in and rechecking in and they popped up to number 2 on the list. Even though it said 1K on the boarding pass the upgrade list was not recognizing the 1K status.

I would try re-checking in first... should be much easier than trying to get an agent to recognize that there might be a problem in the software.
