Everything You Want to Know About Where to Sit on 757-200 (16 lie-flat)

I'm flying the international config 757 for the first time. Flying from AUS-EWR in FC. Any seats better or worse than others? Thanks!

I take 1e then 1b if I can get 'em, but that's int'l (I'd rather someone else have to climb over me than me over them). Domestically, if I think I won't head to the lavatory, I probably would opt for 1a or 1f. Plus, domestically at least, you have better chance of 1st choice of meal nowadays.

Great, thanks! Is there space for a bag on the floor at your feet in row 1?

There is some space and a little ledge above that becomes part of the footwell when the seat is totally flat. There will be a ledge to the side of your shoulder that you can place all your in-flight necessities (headphones, mags, glasses, etc). Enjoy the killer AVOD...

Thanks! Looking forward to my first trip on this airplane, and in FC to boot!!!

Wait, they are flying the PMCO 752 intl config on AUS-EWR? I thought that route was a mainstay for 735/73G

Looks like an extra section for Formula 1. UA doesn't typically fly AUS-EWR at 0915. The 1100 is also a PMCO 752 that day.

I am going to try out the CO 752 for the first time tomorrow and have chosen 1E. I look forward to it! Will report back on storage.

If you're in the window, you could put a laptop case against the fuselage. There is also a small amount of room below the footrest, but neither is big enough for a suitcase or duffle, and those areas aren't usable during takeoff.

Pleasant enough flying, though.

One of the feeder flights is IAH-AUS, oh boy...56 minutes of flat bed goodness.

1B or 3E......?? 757-200 flatbed

What's the consensus on best seat on a 757-200 (international business. Seat 1E (bulkhead) or Seat 3E ??

PVDProf Oct 11, 2012 10:01 pm

1B. Bulkheads have more generous footwells.
