Contrary to what people seemed to think initially, alll 3 Houston-London flights will be on 3-class pmUA 763s, not reconfigured 2-class 763s. Or at least this is what UA.com shows on the reservations page post-March 29. This is a nice surprise (although if you read the initial press release carefully, it never specificed 2-class vs 3-class 763s; it just said 763s with "flat-bed premium" seating). GRU is also showing 3-class pmUA 763s.
Does this mean we will soon see a separate GF Lounge at E? Maybe create a lounge-within-a-lounge on the 3rd floor of the United Club, a la NRT? That would be a nice GS perk for the many 2-class BF flights out of IAH.

For this E+ flyer, I'd far rather be in a 767 with 2-3-2 seating and no AVOD than a 777 with 3-3-3 seating. I agree that the fit-out is stone age but I'm happy with my book and a seat by the window and reasonable leg room, rather than have two people to climb over.

Same here. I bring my own entertainment, so I would much prefer a 767 over the 777.

For premium travelers I do think the PMUA 767s are a huge upgrade!! This is exciting for Houston travelers!! The PMCO planes are only 2 class. I usually bring my IPAD anyway as the AVOiD choices aren't always the best. I would rather have 232 in the back in E + on the 767 than AVOD.

Itis great to hear these routes will get 3 class 767s!! London Heathrow is United! PMCO was never a big Airline there!! Now if they would bring the 727 routes from heathrow i could use united all the time!! This is a huge upgrade and travelers get more attentive PMUA crews!! Hopefully PMUA planes come toEWR London routes soon too! 757s are not okay to Heathrow!!

767 is a great machine and the best configuration in Y. Also, IAH will enjoy a great 3 class service with better seats in ALL 3 cabins.
Congrats IAH.

Why do you continue to say this? It is not a downgrade. Better seat, better configuration. You still have a PTV not Avod, but everytime I fly a CO plane with avod it seems to always need a reboot.

SFO-CDG was previously announced, a smart move as UA has been conceding this route popular route to AF. UA needs more routes like this and fewer through IAH which is no one's idea of a pleasure stopover (and also less convenient for most onward connections in the continental US).
Too bad UA insists on continuing with the horrid 757s to FRA, guess they are banking that most customers won't notice the frequent empty-fuel-tank diversions.
