FlyerTalk Team Wins UA SFO Family Day Plane Pull ... Booyah!
Booyah FlyerTalk Friends:
The plane pull championship continues to reside within for the FlyerTalk community attending the SFO family day festivities for 2012 - 2013. I just received the message below from our friends at the SFO maintenance facility and for the third year in a row we are the champions. We even left the Blue Angel squad in the dust.
THE RESULTS:
1. Flyer Talk-Team Captain William Brasseur: 15.26 s
2. Boy Scout Troop 355-Team Captain Dave Van Wart: 16.75 s
3. Jayhawks-Team Captain Shaun Lusan: 18.32 s
4. Display Cars 2-Team Captain Craig Sackett: 18.78 s
5. Display Cars 1-Team Captain Craig Sackett: 18.91 s
6. The Blue Angels-Team Captain Daniel Pascual: 20.44 s
7. Boy Scout Troop 708-Team Captain Larry Williams:22.40 s
8. SFO Station/Flyer Talk-Team Captain Joni Belknap and William Brasseur: 22.85 s
Well done to all on the team this year,
Tom

Way to go guys!
I am a bit surprised that no one in this thread has noted that the plane you were pulling was N806UA, which appears to be the first non-ps aircraft with WiFi installed and thus was sporting a new bubble on top of the fuselage at the event.
