My +1 will not for any reason sit in row 1. The size of the footwell has nothing to do with her choice, but it does make my decision easier.

I hate if Im seated in the last row or 3E/F since food options may be limited. But thats my first world problems.

Bingo. ^

Agreed: plus if the metal is down gaged row 2 will still be there, where as the last row(s) of F could disappear.

My only issue with row 1 is the lack of under-seat storage. I've noticed that sometimes the overhead is also reserved, and I have to find another place to put my carry-on.

Other than that, I kind of like sitting up front. I'm 5'6", and I've never complained about the disadvantages of being short

I haven't been on an A319 or an A320 since they put the new F seats and ISP in, but the couple of times I flew in them I sat in 1B, and the bulkhead wall only covered the left 66% of the seat, which enabled me to stretch my feet in front of the wall if I angled my feet towards the aisle a little bit.

I was on a non-ps 757.

No footwell. Certainly not easier to get in and out, either. It's much tighter than the rest of the cabin.

I always go for row 2, 3 or 4.

Seat assignment was changed at the last minute.

As all the 752's have lie-flat seats, this must have been a 753
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...tc-thread.html

On the 753, 1E/F does not have a cutout / footwell, while 1A/B do.
Best to avoid if you are taller than average.

Update to seats on 757-300's?

Any updates on when / if the new seat installation has begun? I'm flying SFO-ORD on Friday, 7/7/17 in 1A on 757-300 and am curious if it will still be the legacy seats.

Thanks!

Conversions start 6/17 according to fleet site, so put your money on current seats. Don't get lost in your footwell...

While I've never flown in 1A, I hear the footwell is the perfect place for a lap child!

What will the new seats look like? Slimline in the back and ??? in the front ?

Is 33A/F worth it? The reviews on seatguru seem to say they are, but a comment here said they're not. Does anyone have a picture of that row?

While I've never sat in that row, I'd steer clear because it would take a really long time to deplane at your destination. I'm way too impatient for that!

Can anyone answer this? I know that the first row E+ "bathroom" seats on a 737-900 are not that great, but what about 7C/D?
