Do I earn PQM using e-certs and/or travel certs?

In the past months, I received $300 e-certs (1016...) and $400 travel certificate (12TC..) on 2 separate occasions due to flight delayed and cancelled.

I would like to use these certs for MR (got 6,000+ miles to go for 1K), does anyone know if I earn PQM using the certs? UA web site said promotional certificates not qualified. I did ask Alex, and here is the answer

Alex: Award travel tickets, free tickets, unpublished fares and tickets purchased with promotional certificates are not eligible for MileagePlus mileage accrual. See this Web page for more information on tickets, products and services that are not eligible for mileage accrual. View Page

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

WineCountryUA already responded - but - just to chime in, check out the T+C's of your e-cert, generally it's like this (from one I received) -

They're in reverse order, but you'll get the idea. The T&C's were described in the e-mail that you received.

You can look up the T&C by putting in your E-Cert # at the end of the URL below:
