As for the 753, that was a pleasant surprise. Several people had stated earlier that they all had drop down screens so I never occurred to me that it could have had anything else. It's nice to know at least some of them they are getting reconfigured. Will the other 12 753s get E+ and In Seat Power? That's more important to me than that DirecTV, especially if I'm not upgraded.
No only the 9 CO original 753 (Tail #s 851-859) will be receiving DirecTV & power, the 12 ATA hand-me-downs (Tail #s 860-871) will remain as is. However all 753s will be getting E+ in fact all of the 860-871 753s have E+. It's just the 851-859 753s that still need to get E+ installed of which, 855, 856, 858, have DirecTV & E+ installed. 859 is currently in the shop undergoing conversion should be back in service next week or so.

Thanks for all the info. For the 753, it looks like I was on 858. I just took a look the website mentioned in your signature. What a great source of information on this sort of stuff!

Thanks. All credit should go to UA767400 & Bunky. UA767400 started & created that site, Bunky now maintains it as UA767400 is extremely busy with school and stuff, however I believe he contributes to the website when he can.

I created a thread on this topic not long ago. Besides the hostile sCO FAs and lack of E+, this is the single worst thing about sCO metal in my view.
