This is right on time and from a UA employee!

It is just past 6 months from Valentine's day 2012 and just under 6 months from Valentine's day 2013.

Some genius at UA probably just realized that something needed to be done with the inventory of cookies from last Valentine's day since the 2013 Valentine's day cookies were due to arrive any day now.

Let's start here... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...rdholders.html .

Let me know if you feel comfortable that your SWU or Regional are being processed in the correct manner when you have documented instances of kettle upgrades and TODs taking any available open First or Business Class seat. Have you watched the available seats and how COdbaUA assigns them before a flight?

There are sweeps alright, your upgrades and mine being swept under the carpet.

What's the catch? Is the whole DCA-SFO nonstop not really a nonstop? Or is it DCA-OAK? Do they not have food on the flight? Or is something broken and this our consolation prize?
Dude I love your photo stream (I am a travel runner as well!) but there sure is a lot of your personal info available on there.

Well, it IS around chinese valentines day...
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qixi_Festival

perhaps those were leftovers from flights to China? ...

next time United should hand out fortune cookies with random messages.
or some 10% off future flight promo codes would be good too.

Wait a sec .... yep those are left over from my local Chase Bank's Valentine Day promotion.

One more crumb from the "real' owner of United.

Mine tasted like it had been sitting around since Valentines Day, and not necessarily 2012.

Nice to see a bit of levity here, instead of reading of another change I cannot like. But I seriously agree with AD about how the new UA should operate.
