Mileage Posting Errors (incorrect RDMs will be deducted, correct RDMs will be posted)
Here is a new stunt that UA pulled tonight. They decided to completely discount the award miles accrued on my flights from Thursday. Anyone else see any errors in posting?
Activity Date Description Miles/Points Award Miles Bonus Total - Miles Segments
8/16/2012 United 5953Y
Richmond-Chicago (ORD) Y / Y 485 162 647 - 963 1.5
8/16/2012 United 0651V
Chicago (ORD)-San Diego V / V 500 250 750 - 1,723 1

Hi Everyone,
As you’ve noticed, this weekend, redeemable miles for United and partner flights were not credited correctly. Specifically, the mileage amounts posted were either 250, 325, 500 or 750, instead of the true base miles. Additionally, class of service bonuses were not correct because they were calculated as a percentage of the incorrect base miles. Premier Qualifying Miles and Segments (PQM/PQS) were credited correctly.
To fix this, we will be deleting the incorrect miles tonight and expect to re-credit the correct miles by the end of the week.

Same here...the RDMs for two flights I recently took are showing up way too short.
8/17/2012 United 0194Y
New York/Newark-Chicago (ORD) Y / Y 504 325 829
8/17/2012 United 1193L
Chicago (ORD)-New York (LGA) L / L 250 250 500
The PQMs are showing up correctly though. Also, that first flight was actually flown on 8/16, not on 8/17 as posted.

Caught me too
SFO > HNL posted the correct EQMs (or so I would assume) but only 500 RDMs for a flight I had on the 17th.

It has been a steady stream of trouble. Messed up upgrades, untrained staff, a different answer each time, and now for the second time, major errors in simply posting miles. I really want to like the perks I get, but this stuff sours every good thing that comes along. They say it's all better now- the automated system is working fine- EXCEPT when its not.
WOW! What a mess.

I guess Chicago and Las Vegas should have been an hour flight.
They know how to steal the miles (latest bonus promotion), give us less mileage bonus (75% for Plat) and short change us mileage.
BTW mileage on AA to Europe off season is 40K round trip.
