3 Cabin Choice, Help Me Decide!

Flying to LAX and i can't decide if i should fly JFK-LAX PS F or EWR-SFO-LAX F (3 cabin 763). I have taken PS F several times but never have tried the 763!

Time isn't important for me so which do you think i should choose?

Wouldn't there still be Menu service because its EWR-SFO? or has that stopped?

Wouldn't get the terrible digiplayers but that's irrelevant because F has AVOD

Still would get sundaes

I wouldn't get the IFL but its so blah these days anyways

help me decide!!!

The F suite on the 3 class 763 is much better than F on PS... you'll have a solo suite. If you're traveling alone get seat 2K or 1K for both window & aisle access and superior privacy. 1A and 2A are good too but they angle towards the middle seats. There really isn't a bad suite on that plane.

I would likely go with the 763, but you would be sacrificing wifi.

How sure are you that the 763 will be 3 class?

I can't imagine taking a connecting flight over p.s.

Yes, the 3-cabin 763 will be nicer than p.s. F. I personally think even C in the 763 would beat p.s. F.

I know you said time isn't important for you. But if you give me a choice between an extra 2+ at my hotel, a restaurant, wherever, versus connecting through SFO, I'd go for the non-airport experience. Also, keep in mind that SFO is prone to fog delays, so you face the risk of a misconnect.

I always end up on 737-800 for EWR-SFO,. When does the 767 run?

Nevermind I answered my own question. Ive been doing the route on weekends

The EWR-SFO 767 flight sees a lot of so-called "Ghetto Birds". These will be disappearing soon but I would be careful booking that flight and expecting the GF suite. Even if it's a converted 67E, it will only be 2 cabins with the s-CO BusinessFirst seat... which is great for a domestic flight, but not as good as GF if you're paying for it.

Maybe it's me, but all the 767's I see on EWR-SFO are 2 cabin. When they using the 3 cabin.

I believe EWR-IST is 3 cabin for now.

The three class 763 will start flying the 230pm EWR-SFO flight later in Aug... I am in C on one of those flights ;)

Yup, until Aug 28, so that is why we are seeing the 3 cabin 763 for Aug.

Of course, this assumes there won't be any delays in the modification process.
